The clinic's services encompass a spectrum of free clinical offerings, including consultations (both new and follow-up), urine tests, ECG procedures, minor treatments, vaccinations, antenatal care, ambulance services, nutrition programs, and community health education.
In 2024, the SMOM Medical Clinic continued its commitment to providing essential healthcare services, recording a total of 11,284 patient engagements—a notable increase from 9,562 in 2023. While the majority of patients continue to come from nearby communities within Dili, we have observed a growing number of individuals seeking care from neighboring municipalities, reflecting the clinic’s expanding reputation and reach.
During each mobile clinic visit, our dedicated team delivers free medical consultations, minor treatments, antenatal care, and vaccinations directly to communities in need. Beyond clinical services, we emphasize community engagement by conducting health education sessions focused on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention—empowering individuals with knowledge to support healthier lifestyles. These outreach efforts not only provide essential care but also foster trust, awareness, and lasting relationships within the communities we serve.
Our mobile outreach continues to bridge healthcare gaps by reaching underserved and remote areas, including Ailele-hun, Beduku Kraik, Beduku Leten, Danau 2, Danau 3, Kasnafar, Lelaus, Malikeo, Maubara and Maslidun—ensuring that no one is left behind in accessing basic healthcare.
Antenatal care remains at the heart of our healthcare mission, both at the SMOM Medical Clinic in Dili and through our mobile outreach services. We are committed to supporting maternal health by providing regular check-ups, prenatal screenings, nutritional guidance, and health education to expectant mothers. Whether in the clinic or in remote communities, our team ensures that pregnant women receive timely, compassionate, and quality care throughout their pregnancy journey.
We actively support national immunization efforts through free vaccination campaigns delivered both at our clinic and during mobile outreach. In close coordination with local Community Health Centers (CHCs), our team helps ensure children and adults receive essential vaccines—promoting disease prevention and protecting vulnerable populations in Dili and surrounding communities.
Our nutrition program focuses on improving the health of children aged 6 to 59 months and pregnant mothers through regular screening, counseling, and nutritional support. By identifying early signs of malnutrition and providing targeted interventions, our team helps promote healthy growth and development.
Our CPD Program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of our healthcare team through ongoing training, workshops, and peer learning. Focused on delivering quality, patient-centered care, the program supports staff development in key areas such as clinical practice, health education, and community outreach.
